Summer Days

Where I am

The sun just keeps going round

At night it may dim, but it don’t quite go down

And then/until the world tilts, and we roll to the darkness
So we’ll sleep ‘til the sun comes back
And travel closer to home

Where I am, we all can walk on the ocean
And-everyone-can see
Where the sky meets the land
And life up here is/can-be an act of devotion
It lets-you-fly or lets-you-down
But it don’t hold your hand

Where I am the ground gives back your walking
The silence it roars
And the distance can lie
Where I am, the wind can steal all your talking
But still when we walk away, we just don’t say goodbye
